Thank you Dr. Jerry

Jerry always was SO kind to me especially as a new Executive Director while at MACLA many years ago. I remember he always asked me multiple questions when I couldn't talk in the dental chair and we would both laugh so much bc he knew I couldn't respond.

Dr. Jerry you are missed!

I am so glad at least my Millie got to meet you. Thank you for ALL you did to support the Chicano arts community as well. There is so much that can be said about his impact statewide, regionally and the example he set for us all. It is our duty to stand up for communities of color and for the arts and the intersection of them both.

REST IN PEACE AND POWER JERRY!

Feelings

When I first met with Jerry, I feel he is really polite, quite at ease n interesting! I really had a good conversation with him. The second time we met, I played golf with him and his mother n sister.
